Virtual Campus App Interface Design

In this post the Virtual Campus App interface design, created by Rodolpho Henrique, a graphic designer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Rodolpho: I want to show one personal project that I’ve done and got a huge feedback, and maybe get some space on the blog.

A few months ago I created one app concept for the university ‘Estácio de Sá’ one of the most important Brazilian university.
The kickoff for that idea came from my personal necessity (as student) to access the informations from my smartphone.

I did a quick survey based on the students and noticed that 95% them were not satisfied with the current experience in accessing the Virtual Campus through their mobile devices (actually doesn’t exist any mobile tool developed by the university)

Most of students have trouble using the current online system. The idea was an iconic interface that would allow new experiences and make the online procedures easier for the students.

So I put the main needs and the tools together (as Class hours, Exam schedule etc) and started to design that personal project for the university. I released the project about to graduate and for my surprise it was very well accepted. I’ve received huge positive feedback from the teachers and directors.
