The very first screen you’ll see when you open your website is the most important one. Make sure the screen of your header on its own is a beautiful picture. A nice photo with a nice oneliner or a great design, but clean. Make sure this screen supports the rest of your website and empowers your goals, but don’t show too much in the header. Only make sure you attract your visitors to the rest of the site. You won’t do this with a lot of text and images, because you don’t want to get your visitors overwhelmed.
