A new trend in webdesign world is the alternative navigation. To see more of the website, you sometimes have to swipe in a certain direction. This is a nice and original option and your visitor is more focussed on your site than when you just have to scroll, which you’ll do automatically. A side note for this option is that you have to be clear about this navigation. With a small animation or text you can show and tell your visitor what to do to enter the website, but never leave that part blank, because there will be visitors who will leave your site when they don’t know what to do next.
