Webdesign is a piece of art. The only difference for the artist is most of the times that the website has to be understandable for the visitors. In some kinds of art you can create something very abstract and totally according to your own imagination. Most websites are going to be visited by all kinds of people and most of those visitors won’t understand a lot about art. You can create something beautiful, but if your visitor doesn’t understand it, it’s a waste of time. Be artfully but keep it accessible.
