Music and sounds can set the atmosphere of your website. That’s cool, but be careful with it. People don’t always expect noise coming out of their computer when opening a website. Make sure the sounds really are a good addition to your site and aren’t too loud. Also make sure the sound immediately stops when the user clicks to another tab or program. One of the most important things with sounds is a good visible option on your site to turn it off. Sounds can be a great addition to your website, but it also can be the reason why visitors directly want to leave it.
