This Spring’s Fashion for Nordiska Kompaniet Interpreted by Two-star Chef Björn Frantzén

Nordiska Kompaniet is Sweden’s only luxury department store. This spring internationally-acclaimed two-star chef Björn Frantzén opens four new restaurants in the Stockholm store, thus creating a new destination for food and fashion. To launch the restaurants, he interpreted fashion from current in-store collections in his own choice of materials.

The Diane von Furstenberg dress was created in lettuce and vegetables, the flowery pattern made from endive leaves and enoki mushrooms. The dress from Italian fashion house Valentino was made by delicacies such as macarons, brioches, chocolats, berries, marshmallows and edible flowers. The Ralph Lauren jacket was entirely built in wine corks, except for the flower made in coppa ham. The dress from luxury fashion house Chloé was created in cauliflower, shells of scallops and pearl onions.
