This Is The Drone You Want To Have!

If you’ve been following the news, you know drones are getting more and more payable, and therefore more and more used. Resulting in amazing videos, new ‘real life race games’, quick deliveries of your online purchases and last but not least, a lot of fun.

I’ve been wanting to experiment with drones myself, I’ve got a GoPro and would love it to attach it under a drone and start making some videos. Unfortunately, even though they’re getting cheaper, they’re still to expensive for me. Especially the bigger once which have support for GoPros.

Until I came across this Indiegogo project called ‘Micro Drone 3.0: Flight in the Palm of Your Hand’. It’s the tiniest drone I’ve seen so far, with camera support! (I know, I can’t attach my GoPro, but this will do:)). And, not uninportant, it’s within my price range! If you back the project before it ends (18 July 2015), you can get the drone for $150,-. For that amount you will get the following:

  • 1 Micro Drone 3.0
  • 1 HD Camera Module
  • 1 Virtual Reality Headset
  • 1 battery
  • 1 charger
  • 1 professional handset remote control
  • a selection of CAD files to 3D Print custom frame

It’s small, smart and streams HD footage to your phone, that’s just the beginning of Micro Drone 3.0

When the team started the crowdfunding, they set the goal at $75.000,-. At the time of writing, they’ve reached a total of $1.105.942,-, and still a week to go. Due to this, they’ve added extra options to the drone: For $50,- you will get an expansion to the camera for extra stability. They’ve also made available the option to stream your content to social media. So imagine yourself filming something awesome with your drone and sending it to your friends at the same time!
