The Portfolio of Monique van Steen

View gallery

In ‘The Portfolio of…’ I give you, the photographer/ designer, a chance to share your work with the world. Everyone likes to get some attention for their works, and we’re here to help. Submit your portfolio to DI and I’ll try to publish it. Today it’s time to show you the work of Monique van Steen, a Dutch painter living in Barcelona, Spain, who is fascinated by the investigation on the boundaries of what is seen as female beauty. The faces she depicts are outragingly disfigured yet they seem to be of a raging sensuality with their big eyes and dazzling colors.
