In ‘The Portfolio of…’ I feature one designer a day and give all of you a chance to share your work with the world. A lot of you are looking for ways to share your work, get your name out, reach possible clients, you name it… We’re here to help! Submit your portfolio for a chance to get featured here. Today it’s time to show you a selection of the works of blosse.
Gwendoline Blosse was born in Brittany and currently lives in Nantes, France. “It’s a great city with many creative opportunities and emerging artists.” She graduated in 2008 from AGR l’école de l’image, where she specialised in Illustration, Comics and Graphic Design.
As a multi-disciplinary artist, many things inspire Gwendoline, including graphic design, drawing, fine art and music. “I truly believe that the social and political sectors are the greatest way of becoming a critical, inventive and relevant individual in the world of today.” She is deeply inspired by the Post-Impressionist avant-garde movement ‘Les Nabis’, in particular Paul Sérusier, and many Impressionist artists. “I try to have a similar process with my choice of solid colours, colourful contrast and abstract realism. I add a touch of modernity as I mostly draw with a graphics tablet and therefore have a huge range of RGB colours.”
In the future, she would like to have many more graphic projects and collaborations.
“I would love to collaborate with any kind of artists!”
