The Art of Typography #91 – Mixel Typography

A picture says more than a thousand words!…But what if those words make a picture? Every friday we deliver you new fresh typography inspired pictures. We’ve featured some amazing type projects over the last months, most of them get a feature because of the creativity of such a font. Today I have a typographic set created with the Mixel App. The app lets you re-use and even re-crop any piece from any other users collage, which gave Senongo Akpem literally hundreds of images to work from that he could alter in any way he chose. He tried to use as many images as possible to make the letters free-flowing. Some are a bit more complex than others but he tried to get them all to look like cohesive letterforms.
