A specially designed LED light suit abstracting the human form to shapes of light

In this project called LightPath by Michael Taylor, light itself is the subject. This series is part of the Lumen project  and is photographed in the Alps and in Ireland over three years.

Statement

A specially designed LED light suit abstracts the human form to shapes of light. Movements of the human body through the landscape leave residual traces of light. Light thus becomes a memory of action.
In the second series, the person was silhouetted in time by choreographed movements of light generated by a range of light painting tools.
