Space Odissey is a project which Paul Virlan started in 2013 as an illustration book with three chapters, referring to different interpretations of birth, life and death. The 3 chapters are universal and through them Paul tried to describe life from man to the point of linear evolution, then the planar evolution.
There were ordinary things, wondering what we do as a human and why we feel the need to climb up an imaginary ladder to be better. Paul decided to use this topic in his thesis and remembered this “Space Odyssey” story. He kept the name because it was well known and very easy to interpret. He documented how this sophisticated topic was transposed in the film and book, then he fixed his own version.
