Skulls by Aldo Fernandes Azevedo

Today I have a great project made by Aldo Fernandes Azevedo a designer from Recife, Brazil. If you visit our site on a regular basis, it’s quite possible you’ve seen some of his works. In this project he’s created a selection of skulls made in Illustrator CS5. These skulls have quite a resemblance with the mexican skulls. Indigenous Mexican art celebrates the skeleton and uses it as a regular motif. The use of skulls and skeletons in art originated before the Conquest: The Aztecs excelled in stone sculptures and created striking carvings of their gods.
