COVID Musings is a series of illustrations I created based on impressions I’ve formed about different aspects of the current pandemic, from the creully ironic danger of religious gatherings, to changing perspectives on distinctions between human and nature.
It’s also an experiment in going from concept to final art in a fast and natural way. I personally find pastel pencils to be an intuitive drawing tool, so I use them to lay down detail and describe things, then fill in with simple colour digitally.
