A lot of you are looking for ways to share your work, get your name out, reach possible clients, you name it… We’re here to help! Submit your portfolio for a chance to get featured here. Today it’s time to show you a selection of the works of Michael Trozzolo.
Michael Trozzolo: I’m a photo and video based conceptual artist currently living in Toronto,Canada. My work explores the relation between desire and despair by simulating a constructed and idealized reality, and the physical, emotional, environmental, and/or social repercussions of society’s desires.
Initially I got into photography during high school as I was fascinated with the technical aspects of it. I soon realized it was much easier and more effective for me to create images through photography, rather then painting and drawing which was also a hobby of mine. I continued to study photography in college, and now it’s the main medium I use.
My work is a combination of in-studio photography, digital photo manipulation, and collage with other images I have taken or found images.
