The Portfolio of Fraser Gray

In ‘The Portfolio of…’ I feature one designer a day and give all of you a chance to share your work with the world. A lot of you are looking for ways to share your work, get your name out, reach possible clients, you name it… We’re here to help! Submit your portfolio for a chance to get featured here. Today it’s time to show you a selection of the works of Fraser Gray.

My name is Fraser Gray, and I am a visual artist based in Edinburgh specialising in the production of large scale paintings and murals.
My collage style paintings aim to distort our ideas of representation by translating appropriated imagery of everyday objects through multiple painting languages, and into surrealist compositions with synthetic unnatural colours. This process can abstract the familiar, or re-present it with an unsettling new significance. More often than not however, it leaves the viewer with the feeling they have eaten waaaayyy to many Skittles. So I’ve been told. :)
