A lot of you are looking for ways to share your work, get your name out, reach possible clients, you name it… We’re here to help! Submit your portfolio for a chance to get featured here. Today it’s time to show you a selection of the works of Eva Bowan.

Eva Bowan: I’m a Polish born Brighton (UK) based multidisciplinary artist working in the fields of Music, Graphic Design, Collage, Photography, Video and Illustration.

I started with an interest mainly in traditional media like painting and drawing which later resulted in the complete opposite – profound exploration of digital media. Currently my work widely incorporates analogue and digital techniques, both in visual and sonic art. I love combining organic textures and sounds with electronic elements and glitch.
I have an insatiable appetite for trying out a variety of media as I feel each provides me with a different and unique form of self-expression.
After long time of experimenting with visual art I finally progressed to studying and understanding how to write music and currently I consider it one of the key parts of my artistic practice.

My background in Psychology defines a huge part of my approach – I like to explore the themes of the mind, identity, relevance of dreams and psychedelic experiences. I’m fascinated by the odd, unreal and subconscious.
I also feel particularly close to nature and love to trace naturally occurring patterns and sounds and transfer them to my works. I’m striving to recreate the world through the way I perceive it – intangible and changing, enchanting and ghostly.
My works are the traces of my own introspective journeys, which the recipient can hopefully relate to.
