In ‘The Portfolio of…’ I feature one designer a day and give all of you a chance to share your work with the world. A lot of you are looking for ways to share your work, get your name out, reach possible clients, you name it… We’re here to help! Submit your portfolio for a chance to get featured here. Today it’s time to show you a selection of the works of Emily Ritter.

Emily Ritter: I explore human irresponsibility and its consequences on different species and environments. This is done in a narrative manner, with activist print traditions as inspiration. Through print installations I create a conversation about specific issues. I use multiple small prints and create a mass that engages the viewer, enabling them to interact with the piece and question their involvement within this issue. I experiment with alternative ways to create prints, typically incorporating materials that are involved with the specific issue that is the content of the work. My goal is to initiate a conversation about possible solutions to environmental and ecological issues that plague our planet.
