From grand landscapes to intimate natural and urban scenes, Amr wants his images to connect with the viewer’s experiences, memories and emotions. He’d rather share how his visual journey felt like, not how it looked in reality and since he approaches landscape photography as a creative art form, there is no need to be perfectly real. Over time he evolved from taking purely documentary images to becoming an avid student of light and nature.

Today he aims to produce images with a vision to inspire people to simplify their existence and appreciate the very few things that truly bring happiness into our lives.

Passionate about sharing and passing on his knowledge, Amr Tahtawi leads workshops, digital image developing classes, offers private instruction and guiding, talks and lectures.
