In ‘The Portfolio of…’ I feature one designer a day and give all of you a chance to share your work with the world. A lot of you are looking for ways to share your work, get your name out, reach possible clients, you name it… We’re here to help! Submit your portfolio for a chance to get featured here. Today it’s time to show you a selection of the works of Alex Silitra.
Alex is a curious Romanian multidisciplinary Designer who started in 2007 when he discovered the world of Corporate Design and Branding.
The feeling he had when helping individuals and organizations to improve their businesses with design oriented ideas was the trigger for his future design career. That was the point when he started digging deeper and learning more about design and branding.
10 way strips, layer masks, polygons and creating something from nothing are his “thing”.
The obsession to create strong and effective designs, with a simple and clean aesthetic and a meticulous attention to detail were the things that set him apart from his competition.
His journey continued and he developed his skills on one of the largest crowd sourcing websites where he sold a few logos on this web platform, sharpened his skills and established contacts from both sides: designers and customers. But it was not enough; he realized the key of success stands in education and network. That was the point when he decided to join Miami Ad School Europe.
His current focus lies on combining perfect concepts with graphic design for the perfect end product.
In his free time he likes extreme sports and photography.
After school the extension of his professional design skills is towards a more vast sector called life in which he likes to say that “Exchanged ideas generate constant inspiration”.
