Pictodotz is a different view on the way to create a pixelated image, using circles divided into 4 parts to form each ‘pixel’. It’s a new project of Eduardo Bessa, a brazilian designer who releases his new illustrations on the Pictodotz tumblr. 

The result of this technique is very interesting and confronts our vision and brain capacity of identification with the iconography of characters well known from the pop and geek world. Here are some examples:
