Photo Manipulations by David Waters

It’s been a while since I published a post with the focus on Photo Manipulation. You’ll find a lot of photo manipulations in our digital art posts, but sometimes I find a portfolio with really detailed manipulations. Recently I came across some manipulations by David Waters, a designer from Moscow, ID and today I share his manipulations with you, enjoy!

Play Date is the running portfolio of David Waters. Originally from Spokane, Washington, he studied graphic design with the University of Idaho from 2005-2011. Having access to the University’s resources as well as receiving new perspectives and insights from colleagues, professors, and professionals was invaluable for him. But what he found that inspired him the most was my day to day experiences. He doesn’t wait for anyone to tell him when to be creative, it’s what he enjoys doing.  He pursues any means that allow him to express his ideas creatively and so his technical abilities exhibited in this portfolio are all self taught. He started using Adobe Photoshop in 2001 when he was a freshman in high school because the technology excited him. He had always drawn things, but Photoshop wass an entirely new set of rules and a different way of interacting with his art. He doesn’t like to distinguish his art from graphic design, because they are one in the same.
