Pantone’s Colour Of The Year ‘Ultra Violet’ Sets Trend For Outer-Space Style

As I’m sure you’ll know, Pantone recently released their pick for Colour Of The Year 2018, the choice being Ultra Violet – a shade inspired by this year’s advancements in tech and space-travel, and looking to the future.

In celebration, Atrafloor have launched a collection featuring Ultra Violet, taking inspiration from Pantone’s story behind the colour, as well as real ultraviolet photography of outer-space.

In this powerful purple hue, these designs echo Pantone’s recognition of the scientific progressions to date and to come with their resemblance to real ultraviolet space photography – such as the pioneering UV photograph of the Andromeda Galaxy, taken by NASA’s Swift satellite earlier this decade.
