A look at the Works of Tauno Ostra

In this post we take a look at a collection with the works of Tauno Ostra, a designer from Tallinn, Estonia. 26 years old, who’s about to get a masters degree in graphics from Estonian Arts Academy.

Tauno: The written language is essentially drawing of sounds. These abstract or minimal “notes” are drawings of thoughts which are derived from contemporary statements about consciousness, quantum physics, psychology, philosophy, religion, ancient history, mythology or from lyrics and music in general. So pretty much just aknowlegdement of the state of the mind.

Creation process itself creates a condition where the artist could exist in a moment more than just a moment. Stopping time. Stepping out of the space-time continuum. Creating something that has not been created before – a new existance.
