Today we have a look at the works of NeO-ONE (Tiziano Battista), an Italian artist currently living in Ottawa, Canada, who has always been drawing, especially black and white images with optical, paranoid and weird elements.
NeO-ONE (Tiziano Battista): I’m working on a series of illustrations for the book “The foam of the days” by Boris Vian. My favourite tools are black-ink pens, but sometimes I use brushes or whatever else I can find. The titles of my artworks are usually very vague, just a name, or a minimalist description of the subject. This way I let the viewer think about the meaning of my images without influencing him or her. My art is inspired by dystopias, skate art, graffiti, postmodernism, primitive art, nightmares, bad trips, no love.
