Today we’ve a look at the works of Maldha, a 18 year old conceptual artist from Maldives. Maldha’s work is a medley of portraiture, figures and surroundings, presented in a contemporary manner.
Maldha: I enjoy expressing the many psychological elements of human behavior and intensity through my subjects.
My color palette ranges from deep hues to subdued pastels, often emphasizing on the many shades of blue to further the mystique highlighting the vehemence of people.
Many of my works have been experiments of oil paint and while I love creating with these dramatic tones, I enjoy using a wide range of mixed media every once in a while.
The ambience in my subject matter is often presented in a figmental manner, leaving my paintings open for many interpretations. I’ve taken part in group exhibit Berlin-Baku 2016 and Maldivian festival of arts 2015 and had my works featured in Illustrated monthly, art collective and Berlin art parasites.
