Today we’ve a look at the works of Estevan Silveira a graphic designer/illustrator based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, who’s totally addicted to movies, music and comics, in the pop culture in general.
Estevan is originally from Santa Maria, a small town located in southern Brazil. Nowadays he works as a freelancer based in São Paulo and works to large design, advertising and publishing companies.
He has always been interested in the power of the image as narrative construction and believes in the illustration as a mechanism to shift barriers of communication.
His work can be defined how a mix of traditional and modern that brings a classical approach due to composition and design and blends with a contemporary color palette and graphic treatment usually used in his drawings.
Inspired by movies, music, and comics. His production finds in pop culture a unique point and a way to express itself that transcends the language barriers.
