Today we’re looking at a series of colorful works by Britt Berg. Britt mainly works in Paint Tool Sai on a Surface Pro 4, because of the simple and unintrusive interface. [“Give me my trusty chalk brush and I’m good to go.”],
Britt: My style is extremely colourful and usually with high contrast, both in motive and meaning. I love working with colours, combining them in unconventional ways for a more interesting piece. Most of my characters are females who embody elements of both strength and vulnerability with a twist – dark themes appeal to me. I prefer drawing natural, curvy bodies in my semi-realistic style, and i adore the sketchy, painterly look.
