“My practice incorporates painting, sculpture, and drawing. Despite differences, each medium calls for prioritization of process and interaction of materials. My work is influenced by a structure, which flows through all things. By following these connections we can find our own location and establish a sense of self.
I look to my memories to inform this work. As I collect stories, I gather elements, found or sketched, and store them. Over time, personal folklore defines each role and allows for association. This personification is the root of my work. Creating compositions, which reflect my experiences, I address connectivity through constructed, material relationships.”
