Kontrast is the difference in luminance and/ or color that makes an object (or its representation in an image or display) distinguishable. In visual perception of the real world, contrast is determined by the difference in color and brightness of the object and other objects within the same field of view. Because the human visual system is more sensitive to contrast than absolute luminance, we can perceive the world similarly regardless of the huge changes in illumination over the day or from place to place. The maximum contrast of an image is the contrast ratio or dynamic range. To visualize all this technical knowledge, Antoni Tudisco has created a series of beautiful illustrations.
Antoni Tudisco was born and raised in Germany by his Filipina mother and Italian father. He’s a fan of extraordinary things ever since he was a child. Antoni started to sketch during lessons when he was attending the elementary school. The first time he heard about the adobe palette, he left no stone unturned and learned every commands all by himself. After receiving his diploma at the age of 18, he got loads of projects and requests from some major clients such as MTV Philippines, Coca-Cola, Reebok Woman, Nestle and Vans.
