Mademoiselle Maurice, an 28 years old artist from France, has taken the traditional Japanese art of paper folding to create an amazing street art project in Paris. For this project called ‘Rainbows’ she took hundreds of colored origamis, each as a simplified natural element in the image of flowers or birds, and glued them on walls throughout the city. This project was inspired by her years in Japan and by the events of March 11, 2011 which caused the explosion of a plant of Fukushima while she was still there.
