IV International Advertising Festival ‘White Square’

This item is intended to inform you about an interesting festival which will be held in April this year in Minsk, Belarus. We will be publishing several posts in the upcoming weeks about the event, to spread the news and help them get the attention they deserve. All we ask of you is to share this post with your friends, so the information will go all around the world! The International Advertising Festival «White Square» is the key event in the Belarusian advertising industry. The festival is held yearly in the second part of April in Minsk. This year «White Square» will be held already for the fourth time on 19th-21st of April. The motto of the IV Festival ‘YOUR BUSINESS BREAKTHROUGH’ totally complies with the main goal of the event – the increase of the business effectiveness. From the first year of the existence «White Square» combines the latest world experience and new trends, special formats and technologies in marketing. 

 

The participants include the representatives of the major communicative agencies not only from Belarus but also from the number of other CIS and European countries. In the year 2011 we hosted the participants from 20 countries, and the list of them is constantly growing. The participants highlight the professionalism in suggested scientific and educative program. “White Square” is the most business-oriented festival which means that taking part there is working not just for your status. It is a bunch of necessary knowledge for professional growth of the company, its marketing activities and competitiveness. «White Square» is young and absolutely innovative for Belarus and it has a lot of potential being already in the first year awarded the rate of creativity by Ukrainian Advertising Coalition and Russian Association of Communication Agencies.

 

 

During three days of the Festival all the guests and participants have a unique chance to attend more than 40 seminars, master-classes and workshops in the sphere of marketing, branding and communications. The Program of the Festival is currently being formed but already now the speakers from Russia, Germany, Finland, Estonia, England, including the owners of the awards of Cannes Lions, Epica, Golden Drum, Red Apple, KIAF and other festivals have confirmed their participation. The possibility to get successful practical experience from the first hands, communicate in the non-formal atmosphere, establish useful business-contacts – these are the main factors that attract advertisers from all over the world to the Festival. 

 

 

The jury consists of professionals in marketing and advertising from different countries. There will be 9 different juries judging. Among the jury-members there will mainly be creative directors of the famous advertising agencies as well as art directors and administrative staff of the major marketing and communicative companies. In total there are 11 contests, each contains many different nominations. The works that enter short-lists and take first places are granted the awards of the festival. 

 

 

All of us know perfectly well that the night before the deadline is the most effective time but ATTENTION PLEASE! The motto “act NOW” will definitely leave you in a beneficial position, as submission of the works on this stage is at minimal prices!

To be among the first ones is always attractive, especially under the condition that till January, 31st inclusively the submission of the works for the contest will be very simple and will demand minimum efforts from your side! All that you need for that – Internet access and several free minutes to fill in the registration form that you can find using the following link: http://adfest.by/download_files/blank_konkurs_2012.doc. The English variant of it on the web-page will be available in February, to get it now you can send an  email with the topic “Registration Form in English” to [email protected] and you will get it straight after! When you filled the form you can send it to [email protected] and become a participant of the Festival under the most beneficial terms! Electronic registration of the works will start on the second stage.

The works for the contest must have been launched for the first time between 1st of January 2011 and 26th of March 2012.

Every year the Festival attracts a big number of participants from different countries: for the III Festival in total there was 1272 works submitted and the participants represented such countries as Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Germany, Sweden, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Moldova, Macedonia, Finland, Poland.

 

There will be 9 different international juries judging. The members of the juries will be the best representatives of advertising industry from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Slovenia, Belgium, Estonia, Italy, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Germany, Belarus and other CIS and European countries. Currently the juries are being formed but already now among the jury members there will be creative directors of famous advertising agencies in different countries, which are the owners of different advertising awards, art-directors and top-managers of famous communication companies, that were able to launch dozens of successful brands and organize thousands of advertising campaigns, the representatives of leading digital-companies, annually creating new formats and mew means of ways of promoting in the Internet. The jury work is based on principals of equality, objectivity and professionalism so that everyone has the possibility to win!
