Infographic: The True Cost of Piracy

In our infographic series I publis infographics which succeed in delivering a message in a visual attractive way. Today one about the true cost of piracy. Media piracy is a current global issue faced by both consumers and industry groups. High prices for media goods, low incomes and cheap digital technologies are the main reasons for the rise of media piracy. Since many people download music, movies and TV shows without paying, how are job markets and industries impacted? See the results below. In my opinion, it is possible that piracy has an impact on job markets, but as long as there isn’t a good alternative piracy is still the easiest way. Spotify is the first good thing in making music affordable, but for me TV-shows are far more interesting.
