Winter is coming and here in Holland it seems like we skipped autumn, because it’s already very cold (well, for the Dutch temperatures around this time) and they’re even expecting some snow these days. When some people think of winter as sitting by the fire with a blanket and a hot chocolate, others face the cold and make beautiful pictures of the white landscapes. So did photographer Ben Simon Rehn in Greenland and we are lucky to look at those gorgeous pictures from under our blanket on the couch.
Ben Simon: For the first time I visited Ilulissat, Greenland in early April this year. The sheer amount of ice left me speechless. It is like a throwback in earths history, an ice planet, far before our time. Or a reminder for the future on how much ice was there, before it all melted. Decide for yourself.
