Since 2008 The Finnish Sports Gala (Urheilugaala) has grown to become one of the biggest annual gala events held in Finland. It celebrates the highlights of the past year in Finnish sport. During its ten year existence hundreds of ‘Uno’ trophies have been awarded to the best and most inspiring in Finnish sports. The gala offers a two hour sport saturated experience for passionate fans. Altogether 1500 dinner guests and 5000 spectators follow the event live at the Hartwall Arena as well as 2 million watching from home. Kobra Agency came up with the rebrand of the identity for this event, of which you can see some works below.
The rebranding coincided with the 10th anniversary of the gala. It is also the first time in ten years that the brand elements have been updated in any way. Kobra Agency created the new brand and visual identity for the gala, from the new logo and logotype to graphic elements, brand images, brand strategy and communications as well as the design of the gala stage. Motion graphics where created and implemented across TV, Arena screens and the gala stage, where 3D mapping was used to bring the identity to life and elevate the brand experience to a new high.
