Mobile usage is growing and growing, no question about that. At this moment around 15% of the visits to DI are coming from mobile devices, up from just 5% in 2011. One of the things which is easily forgotten when designing for mobile are the empty states. When there is nothing to display, what do you display? There is a Tumblr blog, emptystat.es, showcasing all perfect solutions for the empty states. In this post some of my favorites, and if you’re an app designer, remember: Don’t forget the small details like empty states!
