It’s almost Christmas and for a lot of people it’s time to be creative, design/ create new artworks and share them with the world. Last year I published about a huge christmas tree made from recycled plastic bottles. This year there is at least one place who knows how to get the attention. From 30th of november to 28th december there will be a huge Christmas tree art installation in the city of Bruxels (Belgium). Created by French collective 1024 Architecture, the “Abies Electronicus” is a 82-foot steel-ribbed installation. Every night, the structure will display a light and sound show, with shimmering lights, glowing cubes, and a mix of both holiday and industrial music. And if that isn’t enough, visitors can climb to the top of the tree for a awesome view of the city. In this post some pictures of the installation, and a video of the installation from 2 years ago in France.
