Cardboard Minifigure Stories

Whenever you order something only, chances are, it’s being delivered within a cardboard box. Instead of throwing this away, you can actually make fun stuff out of it. One of the things you can do with it is shown by Juhamatti Vahdersalo, who made minifigures out of cardboard and created stories around them.

Juhamatti: I’m a creative minded person and feel very frustrated when the creativity strikes and have nothing to photograph. This was the main reason to start making these cardboard models.

I thought about all the everyday home items that could be used for creating figures and found the boxes we used when we moved where still in our garage. They had also “nice” package symbols on them which gave me a couple of ideas of the stories that could be created around them.

The landscape materials varies from sandblasting sand to real water and potato flours. The scenarios also have lots of smoke created by smoke machine I own.
