Botanist Dining Brand Identity

Botanist is the newest addition to Canada’s vibrant culinary scene, inspired by the principles of botany. Designed by award-winning agencies Ste Marie Design and Glasfurd & Walker, the space has been layered with the elements of a destination abundant in natural beauty, featuring a bar, outdoor terrace garden, vibrant dining room, and lounge.

In this post we’ve a look at their identity, both print and product design. It’s a beautiful combination of fonts and colors and perfectly combined with aspects of nature.

“The logo, an archway with stairs, appears as an almost optical illusion. It represents the shift in perspective that the restaurant embodies whilst literally representing an ascent of stairs into the restaurant. The logotype is a custom typeface that is both classical and modern—representative of the philosophy throughout the restaurant.”
