Better Out Than In #banksyny

Better out than in is described as ‘an artists residency on the streets of New York’. For the next month no one less than Banksy will be attempting to host an entire show on the streets of New York. This show will not only show the artworks we’re use to see, but also videos and even full products which can all be seen below.

So if you’re in NY, now is probably one of the best times to be there if you like Banksy’s works. To enhance your enjoyment of the exhibits an audio guide is provided via cell phone. You can simply call the number next to the painting and select the appropriate option on the keypad (toll free).

I will be updating this post over the month with the new artworks which will also be visible at Banksy’s own website, enjoy!

Banksy is a pseudonymous England-based graffiti artist, political activist, film director, and painter. His satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humour with graffiti done in a distinctive stencilling technique. These artistic works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world. So much for fame, the first piece is already destroyed

All pictures painted inside, in the studio, will never be as good as those done outside Paul Cézanne
