Beautiful IMDB Redesign Concept

I love Medium their interface is simple and efficient, reading is a breeze and the content published is (most often) nice to read. One of the post I came across was about the Redesigning of IMDB (a concept made by Rémi Fayolle and Gilles Bertaux). They’ve created an amazing design and wrote a very detailled piece, explaining their design choices. Below the post from Medium and of course, the designs. What do you think, should IMDB start using something like this?
