The Art of the Venice Carnival

View gallery

At the beginning of this month we went to Venice to check out the carnaval events there. San Marco square turned out to be very crowdy with every event and the party’s are a bit expensive, but Venice still is a great place to be during those events. Venice carnaval is all about the masks and the fitting costumes. Not only locals, but people from all over the world come here to dress up in a great way and to show it to everyone. Luckily for me and the thousands of other photographers they are very well willing to pose for a picture. Scroll down to see an impression of the greatest event of the year in Venice.
