Naomi Jansen was working for many years as an Art Director for several big names from the nationaal & international advertising world, now she follows her own creative path. She has made illustrations, (wall) paintings, graphics on behalf of musicians, artists and other creatives. She designed logos, CD/Vinyl covers and T-shirts for various bands, made music videos and animations.
Her work consists of colorful, surrealistic compositions and portraits, in which she combines traditional painting and drawing with contemporary digital techniques, in such way it confuses the viewer: “It is oil, or acrylic? Or would it? Oh no ..? “, Often resulting in a discussion if” digital art “is or is not ‘real art’.
Ultimately, this confusion is the convincing evidence of Naomi’s great skill as an artist, though her work has been set up with ‘old skool’ pencil, brush and paper, the finishing touches are done with a digital mouse pen & wacom tablet on the computer.
Naomi’s work has been exhibited in various exhibitions & (art) festivals throughout The Netherlands. Besides painting and drawing she gives creative workshops for young and old.
