36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists to give their particular view on the letters from our alphabet. 36 Days of restless creativity, in which participants are challenged to design a letter or number for each day, resulting in an overall view of the ability to represent the same sign from many different perspectives. A project that aims to create a space for creation around typography and its endless graphic possibilities.

Yesterday I featured the portfolio of JVG, a designer from Madrid, Spain. While going through the submitted portfolio, I came across a post with an illustrated alphabet, made for #36daysoftype. I’d never heard of it before, but the idea is simple: design a letter or number for the next 36 days, add it to instagram with the hashtag and you’ve joined the project. In here the amazing letters made by JVG.
