This project came from a request from Qubic Tax. They approached Acrylicize wanting to commission two installations on the theme of ‘Tax’. Acrylicize wanted to make the work both exciting and relevant whilst having a bit of fun with the subject. The result is two very different pieces which visually complement each other. In this post one of the two pices, the other piece is a neon installation, visible in their portfolio over here. The lego piece represents the fact that everybody pays Tax (well, nearly everyone) no matter what job you do. This is playfully illustrated by the incredible detail on the lego people, each representing a different vocation. Imagine all these on one wall, pretty cool to come to the office every day just to see these figures.
