“Man of Steel View artwork »” is set to hit theaters in June 2013, and the event represents more than just another blockbuster super hero action thriller. Why? This is Superman, the end-all-be-all of all super heroes. I, for one, look forward to seeing whether this version will reinvent the Man of Steel, much as the recent Batman flicks have done. Dramatically speaking, Bruce Wayne is far more interesting when he faces true moral dilemmas and has his own flaws and failures. Could Clark Kent, aka Superman, similarly struggle?

Whether “Man of Steel” lives up to the hype and fulfills expectations, or falters as another dud in an attempt to cash in at the box office – a la “The Amazing Spider-Man,” which, let’s face it, was just a retelling of “Spider-Man” starring Toby Maguire – is yet to be seen. However, anyone who loves Superman and action comics can appreciate the efforts of so many graphic designers who have produced compelling Superman fan art View artwork ». Here, I showcase 10 super “Man of Steel” designs. Which is your favorite?
