Recently I came across the website of {10-11} Carlton House Terrace and loved how they created the main page. It’s almost a digital business card at first sight, but even when you click further the website stays nice. I decided to do some research into the websites of more venues in London. Via www.venuefinder.com/venues-in-london/ I was able to get a huge list of venues and started clicking through to get to the venues’ websites. My idea was that when a website got my attention at first glance I would feature it here. I clicked through all venues till the letter T to create this list. This is a short summary of how I went. Open venue listing. Open website… Nope. Next. And so on. So many websites could do visually so much better! Anyway, below a selection of websites which got a Yes! at first sight.
